Moore Ranked among Future Stars for ’27 Draft

After this year’s NFL Draft, CBS Sports took a look ahead and highlighted 32 “future stars who could define the 2027 NFL Draft.”

Clemson wide receiver T.J. Moore made the list, checking in at No. 25.

“T.J. Moore is a long, rangy receiver with a large catch radius and natural hands. He beats press coverage and can play both inside and outside, offering a high ceiling,” wrote CBS Sports’ Blake Brockermeyer – a former All-American offensive tackle at Texas and first-round NFL Draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 1995.

Moore recorded 52 catches for 837 yards and four touchdowns while starting all 13 games as a sophomore in 2025. He led the Tigers in receiving yards and earned third-team All-ACC honors from Phil Steele.

After catching 45 passes for 651 yards and five touchdowns over 14 games (nine starts) in his debut season, Moore joined Justyn Ross, Artavis Scott and Sammy Watkins as the only players in Clemson history to record at least 650 receiving yards in each of their freshman and sophomore campaigns.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Moore enters the 2026 season having amassed 97 receptions for 1,488 yards and nine touchdowns over 27 games (22 starts) across his first two seasons with the Tigers.

CBS Sports also recently named Moore as one of college football’s “most impactful” re-signings of 2026 – or, in other words, “major retention moves” made by various programs with top talent amidst all the player movement in this year’s transfer portal cycle.
