Clemson INF Set to Enter Portal

Another Clemson player is heading elsewhere.

The Clemson Insider has learned that veteran infielder Jay Dillard will enter the transfer portal.

Dillard just finished his fourth season with the Tigers and saw his most extensive action in 2026 due in part to the injury to Jarren Purify.

The infielder split time between second and third, appearing in 33 games (25 starts) while hitting .215 with one homer and five RBI.

For his career, Dillard hit .200 in 52 games (30 starts) wit five doubles, on top of the one long ball and the nine runs driven in.

He will have one season of eligibility left.
