Freshman Hurler Set to Enter Portal

Clemson is losing one of its freshman pitchers.

Right-hander hurler Peyton Miller plans to enter the transfer portal, The Insider Clemson confirmed Monday morning.

Miller made six relief appearances during his debut season, finishing with an ERA of 4.15. He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits in 4.1 innings pitched with two strikeouts and three walks.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder played two ways during fall ball. Coming out of IMG Academy, Miller was ranked No. 206 among all freshmen in the nation by Perfect Game.

Miller will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
