CLEMSON — The final day of Dabo Swinney’s high school camp kicked off on Saturday morning, with a handful of highly-touted prospects working out for the coaching staff.
One of the top quarterbacks in the 2028 class threw this morning. Four-star Titus Huard (Valor Christian, CO) had an overly impressive session. He is the son of former NFL QB Brock Huard. Once the workouts began, Huard was the first player Kevin Kelly went and scouted. He spent several minutes watching the quarterback throw before making his way to another position.
Standing 6-foot-6, Huard is an imposing figure, and he has the arm to go with it. He throws the ball with a laser-like precision, and he moves around really well for a player of his size. Throw after throw was on the money.
Oregon, SMU, Washington, Texas Tech and Colorado are a few of his bigger offers to this point. The Rivals Industry Rankings slot him No. 150 overall and No. 10 among all QBs in the class.
– 2028 three-star WR Seven Rashad (Buford, GA) was on hand. The 6-foot-5 wideout garnered a lot of individual instruction from Tyler Grisham and each time the Clemson wide receivers coach coached him on a detail, Rashad soaked it up and applied it to the next.
Rashad worked out at Georgia last week and has camp invites from Texas, Texas A&M and Ohio State, but one person close to the recruitment told TCI that the wideout was “stuck on Clemson.” He already has close to 20 offers, including South Carolina, Louisville, Auburn and North Carolina.
– 2028 four-star OL Joey Fleming (Huntsville, NC) was probably the best-looking lineman we saw during the morning session. Extremely agile and moves really well laterally. Not to mention the obvious strength. He dominated the two one on one reps we witnessed.
– 2029 OL Jackson Jenkins (Northern Nash, NC) worked out this morning. He also worked out on Friday. He was the starting center for his high school team as a freshman last season. Troy and Campbell represent his first two offers. He just camped at Georgia Tech and still has stops scheduled at FSU, Virginia Tech, NC State, Duke, North Carolina and ECU.
– 2028 QB Carlos Spencer (Loyola Blakefield, MD) has been on hand Friday and Saturday. The southpaw signal-caller has a unique throwing motion and is fun to watch. Memphis and South Florida have offered, as has Morgan State.
– 2028 four-star CB Tyler Boyd (Carrollton, GA) is on campus today. However, he is not working out. Boyd is ranked as one of the Top 10 corners in his class by every major recruiting service.
