CLEMSON — We have a new name to add to the guest list for the smaller official visit gathering set for next weekend.
Three-star RJ Hudson (Varina, VA) tells The Clemson Insider that he will give the Tigers an official visit, June 12-14. He was originally scheduled to visit Syracuse. Maryland has already gotten an official.
Hudson also announced he is planning to announce a commitment on June 19.
Hudson just picked up his offer on Saturday after working out at camp during the week. He was also on campus for the Spring Elite Day back in April.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect is listed as an edge rusher by the recruiting services, but Clemson is looking at him as a linebacker. The Tigers already have two committed in the 2027 class, with four-star Bryce Kish announcing back in the spring and three-star Max Brown announcing last summer.
Four-star Roman Igwebuike and four-star Sean Fox were two linebackers who were on hand for the big official visit gathering last weekend.
