Clemson’s current recruiting class now features a five-star talent.

In the latest update to its rankings, 247 has given wide receiver commit Jamarin Simmons his fifth star. The service now ranks the 5-foot-11 wideout No. 26 overall and No. 5 among all players at his position.

Simmons was the first wide receiver in the 2027 class to pick up an offer from Clemson, earning one with a superb camp performance last summer. He committed to the Tigers in late May ahead of the big official visit weekend.

As a junior, Simmons reeled in 59 catches for 932 yards with 14 touchdowns. He also went 2-of-2 passing for 120 yards with one touchdown throw.

Simmons is one of three wide receivers in the 2027 class that 247 currently ranks No. 8 in the nation.
