Clemson Target Sets Commitment Date

Another Clemson target has set a commitment date.

Four-star safety Seth Williams will reveal his college destination on July 3, and this is another one that seems to be coming down to Clemson and Georgia.

Williams committed to the Tigers back in the spring while on an unofficial visit, but he quickly decommitted, saying he’d made the decision too quickly.

Williams was scheduled to take an official to Florida this weekend, with a trip to Ohio State planned for June 19. However, as of now, those visits might be off, but that is yet to be determined.

Williams hails from Lakeside High School in Atlanta. As a junior in 2025, he recorded 73 tackles, two interceptions, five tackles for loss, one forced fumble and five pass breakups, to go with 10 receptions for 222 yards and three touchdowns.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back took a major jump in the latest update to the 247 rankings, moving up 100 spots to No. 25 among all safeties in the class. Prior to the update, the service ranked him as a three-star prospect.
