A former Clemson Tiger has landed at a new school.
Infielder Jay Dillard announced a commitment to Austin-Peay on Saturday. He entered the transfer portal on June 1, the first day it opened.
Dillard just finished his fourth season with the Tigers and saw his most extensive action in 2026 due in part to the injury to Jarren Purify.
The infielder split time between second and third, appearing in 33 games (25 starts) while hitting .215 with one homer and five RBI.
For his career, Dillard hit .200 in 52 games (30 starts) with five doubles, on top of the one long ball and the nine runs driven in.
He currently has one season of eligibility left.
