One of the newest members of the Clemson Baseball team has picked up a pretty big honor.
Incoming transfer Troy Sudbrook has been named an ABCA/Rawlings third-team All-American for his stellar 2026 campaign at Toledo. The redshirt junior was also named a third team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association last week.
Sudbrook slashed .373/.467/.665 with 88 hits, 32 doubles, 11 home runs, 71 RBI, 65 runs scored, 30 walks and 13 stolen bases. He led the Rockets with 30 multi-hit games and 20 multi-RBI games. He set two single-season records with his doubles and RBI totals and finished in the top 10 of five different program single-season statistics. Sudbrook’s 32 doubles leads Division I heading into the Men’s College World Series.
In addition to the two All-America honors, Sudbrook was named First Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings, First Team All-MAC, MAC All-Defensive Team and MAC All-Tournament Team. He also qualified as a CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC selection and advanced to the Academic All-America ballot.
Sudbrook committed to Clemson last week, becoming the fourth portal addition for Erik Bakich’s squad since the end of the season.
For his career, he is a .305 hitter with 21 home runs and 139 runs driven in.
