CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With the ACC Football Kickoff less than a month away, it’s now known which players Clemson will send to the event.
The ACC announced on Wednesday the three Clemson players who will be attending next month’s ACC Football Kickoff with head coach Dabo Swinney in Charlotte, N.C. Linebacker Sammy Brown, defensive end Will Heldt and tight end Olsen Patt-Henry will accompany Swinny to the three-day event on July 15-17 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown.
With Olsen-Patt Henry representing the Clemson offense, it marks the first time since 2019 Clemson will not bring a quarterback to the ACC event. Last year, the Tigers sent quarterback Cade Klubnik, receiver Antonio Williams, defensive tackle Peter Woods and defensive end T.J. Parker.
Clemson will speak to the media who cover the league on Thursday, July 16, which is the second day of the Football Kickoff event.
In all 17 head coaches and more than 50 of the league’s top student-athletes will attend the 2026 ACC Kickoff.
Each summer, ACC Football Kickoff turns Charlotte into the center of the college football conversation, bringing together coaches, student-athletes and media from across the country ahead of the new season.
The ACC Network will provide live coverage each day beginning at 9 a.m. ET, delivering the most extensive coverage across the three days.
Entering its 74th season of football, the ACC continues to build on a tradition of excellence on the national stage. Over the past 13 seasons, the conference has placed a team in the College Football Playoff or BCS National Championship Game 10 times, including Miami’s run to the CFP National Championship Game last season.
The ACC has also demonstrated unmatched depth, placing 11 teams in postseason competition (CFP and bowl games) in each of the last three seasons — the longest such streak by any FBS conference.
The 2025 season marked the eighth time since 2014 that the ACC produced double-digit bowl-eligible teams.
