Former Clemson Tiger Headed to SEC

A former Clemson Tiger has found his new college home.

Infielder Jason Fultz Jr. announced a commitment to Ole Miss on Thursday.

“Excited to announce my commitment to Ole Miss,” Fultz posted to social media. “Thank you to the coaching staff at Ole Miss, my family, coaches, and friends for their support in this process.”

Fultz just finished up a freshman campaign that saw him make 34 starts at third base. He hit .231 with one homer, four doubles, a triple and 13 RBI. He also made six errors and had an .875 fielding percentage.

The 6-foot, 215-pounder was a highly-regarded prospect coming out of high school, with Perfect Game ranking him No. 119 overall and No. 6 among all third basemen in his class.
