One of Clemson’s top targets in the next recruiting cycle has already trimmed his list down to a group of finalists.
Four-star safety Giovanni Tuggle (Winder-Barrow, GA) has named his top five schools, with Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State and Ole Miss each making the cut.
The 6-foot defensive back picked up his offer last month after working out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. He now has close to two dozen in total. Tuggle was the first safety in the 2028 class to go public with an offer from the Tigers.
Tuggle is one of the top players in the class, regardless of position. Rivals ranks him No. 48 overall and No. 5 among all players at his position. He also ranks No. 7 in the state of Georgia.
