Clemson has made the top schools list for one of the top defensive backs in the next recruiting class.

Four-star safety CJ Craig-James (Parker, AL) released a list of his Top 12 schools on Monday, with Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, Cal, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, Vanderbilt and LSU all making the initial list.

What makes this one interesting is that the Tigers have yet to offer. Part of that is because Craig-James has yet to visit, which will likely change once we get into the season.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect has close to four dozen offers in total. Most of those have come since the start of this year.

The Rivals Industry Rankings slot Craig-James No. 83 overall, No. 8 among all safeties in the class and No. 6 in the state of Alabama.
