Clemson commit Jamarin Simmons is one of just a handful of high school football players to have an NIL deal with Nike.

The five-star wideout, out of Godby High School down in Florida, is the highest-rated player in the Tigers’ 2027 class per 247Sports, and Simmons has chosen to share the wealth from that NIL deal with his teammates.

Each and every player on the team will receive a pair of cleats, gloves and arm sleeves for the upcoming high school season.

Simmons picked up one of Clemson’s opening offers last summer after an impressive showing at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. He was the first wideout in his class to pick up an offer from the Tigers. The 5-foot-11 receiver announced a commitment just ahead of the big official visit gathering in late May.

Simmons is one of three receivers currently committed, joining four-star Trey Wimbley and three-star Julian Cromartie.

As a junior, Simmons reeled in 59 catches for 932 yards with 14 touchdowns. He also went 2-of-2 passing for 120 yards with one touchdown throw.

247 ranks Simmons No. 26 overall, No. 5 among all wide receivers in the class and No. 4 in the state of Florida.
