One of Clemson’s current commits had an impressive performance in a scrimmage Friday night.

Four-star DE Desmond Malpress had three sacks and forced two fumbles in Atlantic Coast’s (FL) scrimmage against Beachside on Friday. And Malpress put up those numbers in the first half alone.

Malpress committed to the Tigers the first day of June, fresh off his official visit to Clemson. He picked up his offer in February.

Florida State, South Carolina and Georgia Tech were some of the other schools among his more than three dozen offers. South Carolina was the only other school to get an official, as Malpress canceled trips to FSU and Georgia Tech.

Malpress and Atlantic Coast begin the season next Friday at home against Fleming Island.
