Elite-Level Lineman Sets Next Two Clemson Visits

One of the top high school sophomores will visit Clemson twice during the coming season.

2029 four-star in-state OL Jordan “Tank” Lewis (Dorman) tells The Clemson Insider he will first visit for the Miami game on October 3, before returning for the rivalry matchup against the Gameocks on November 28.

Lewis has been a frequent visitor. He camped at Clemson last summer, then visited twice during the 2025 season. He was back for the spring game, then camped again in early June.

“It feels like I can come in there and relax,” Lewis told TCI in a previous interview. “It is just a great place to be on Saturdays. Feels like home. How I got noticed by Clemson. I went to a camp over the summer and got to tour the facilities. How many graduates Coach Swinney has, that really inspires me. I am a student-athlete, but a student before an athlete.”

The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder is currently viewed as one of the top players in his class, regardless of position. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech represent some of his nearly 20 early offers.

Rival ranks Lewis No. 18 overall and No. 2 among all interior linemen in his class. He’s also considered the top prospect in the Palmetto State.
