A former Clemson safety is reportedly set to join this NFL team’s practice squad.

The Baltimore Ravens are expected to sign K’Von Wallace to their practice squad, per Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun.

Wallace was part of the team’s initial roster cuts to reach the 53-man limit. Because he is a vested veteran, Wallace did not have to go through the standard waiver wire, thus leading to a practice squad reunion.

According to Wacker, Baltimore is initially carrying safeties Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks, Jaylinn Hawkins and Keondre Jackson on the active roster.

Wallace originally signed with the Ravens in May.

A two-time national champion at Clemson, Wallace was taken by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round (127th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft following his four-year career as a Tiger (2016-19) during which he recorded 178 career tackles (5.5 for loss), 21 pass breakups, five interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown), two sacks and two forced fumbles over 59 games (36 starts).

The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder played the first three years of his NFL career in Philadelphia. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks and most recently the Houston Texans last season, in addition to practice squad stints with the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings.

Overall in 74 games across his six NFL seasons, Wallace has tallied 177 total tackles (four tackles for loss), eight passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He has made 20 career starts, including a career-high 12 in 2023, when he recorded career highs with 89 total tackles and six passes defensed to go with an interception across 17 total games with the Cardinals and Titans. He has contributed on special teams as well. Last season with the Texans, he appeared in three games, with one start, and made nine tackles, including two tackles for loss.
