Elite-Level DB Target Set to Return to Clemson

One of Clemson’s top secondary targets has set a return date to Clemson.

Four-star CB Domonic Williams (Jacksonville, NC) tells The Clemson Insider he plans to visit for the Tigers’ home opener against Georgia Southern on September 12.

The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect picked up one of Clemson’s opening offers back in June after working out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. Williams made his first visit to campus back in the spring.

“The way they don’t just give out offers,” Williams recently told TCI. “Some of these schools, they just call and say we are going to offer you without ever seeing you. Their coaches really build a relationship with you. And their facilities are unbelievable.”

Williams is considered one of the top corners in the 2028 class, and currently has more than two dozen offers. Penn State and Texas A&M both offered in August, while Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio State, Duke, Maryland, Virginia, Wisconsin and Auburn also offered during the summer.

Rivals ranks Williams No. 46 overall, No. 6 among all corners in the class and No. 3 in the state of North Carolina.
