A North Carolina defensive back will be back in Clemson soon.

2028 three-star cornerback Zion Malloy (Page, NC) will be back on campus September 12 for the Tigers’ home opener against Georgia Southern. It is one of 10 game-day visits Malloy currently has scheduled. The 5-foot-11 defensive back last visited Clemson in the spring.

Louisville is his most recent offer, with South Carolina, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Boston College and Maryland representing some of the other schools to have already pulled the trigger.

Malloy plays both ways at the high school level. As a sophomore, Malloy had 14 catches for 189 yards with one touchdown grab. On the defensive side, he was credited with 27 tackles, one tackle for loss, two interceptions and four passes defended.
