Multiple former Clemson players sounded off with some thoughts on Clemson’s embarrassing 51-10 loss to No. 11 LSU on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

Clemson entered this season unranked in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll for the first time since 2011, and hoping to bounce back from a 7-6 season in 2025, only to suffer the worst loss in Dabo Swinney’s career as a head coach on Saturday night. The loss also marks Clemson’s fourth consecutive loss in a season-opener and fifth in the past six seasons.

The win gives LSU a 5-1 advantage all-time in the series between the two schools, including wins in each of the last three games between the two programs.
