Betting Line for Clemson-UNC Game

The betting line for Clemson’s 2026 ACC opener has been released.

Clemson is currently a 3.5-point favorite against North Carolina, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Tigers and Tar Heels will open ACC play on Saturday at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium, with kickoff set for noon on ESPN.

Clemson (1-1) will look to build on its first win of the season, while Bill Belichick’s Tar Heels (2-0) will try to stay undefeated.

Last season, Clemson defeated North Carolina, 38-10, in what was only the second matchup in college football history of a head coach with multiple FBS national championships (Dabo Swinney) and a multi-time Super Bowl champion head coach (Belichick).

North Carolina’s last visit to Clemson came in November 2023, when Clemson held 2025 NFL MVP candidate Drake Maye to the lowest passing efficiency rating of his college career in a 31-20 Tiger win.

After opening the 2026 campaign with a 51-10 loss at LSU, Clemson bounced back and got in the win column with Saturday’s 22-7 victory over Georgia Southern at Memorial Stadium.

UNC opened the season with a 15-10 win over TCU in Ireland on Aug. 29, and the Tar Heels are coming off a 35-3 victory over ETSU on Saturday in Chapel Hill.

“We’re undefeated in the league, North Carolina is undefeated in the league. So, this is obviously a huge, huge matchup,” Swinney said during his postgame press conference after the Georgia Southern game. “Everybody has aspirations to win the league, and every time you win a conference game, you kind of narrow the field a little bit. So, this is a huge, huge game and opportunity to create momentum in conference play.”

“We’ll have to play a lot better. They’re a good team,” Swinney added of UNC. “I actually got a chance to see most of their game today, and their quarterback [Billy Edwards Jr.] is playing really well for them. Got really good run game. Three tough backs, and got some guys that can get after the passer as well. So, we’ll have to play our best game, and we should be improving. We got better in a lot of areas today, and we’re going to have to keep getting better for next week as well.”
