CLEMSON — Clemson trailed North Carolina, 17-6, at halftime of Saturday’s game at Memorial Stadium.

It is the ACC opener for both teams, with the Tigers entering the contest 1-1 overall on the season and the Tar Heels coming in 2-0 overall.

UNC was a 3.5-point underdog entering the game.
