Clemson handed out two new offers over the weekend, with one of those going to one of the top defensive linemen in the country.

Four-star Jamarcus Johnson (Toombs County, GA) picked up an offer while on an unofficial visit to campus for the Tigers’ 28-20 comeback win over North Carolina.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder had to get on the road back home during the lengthy lightning delay and wasn’t able to catch the exciting comeback, but the blue-chip talent says he will be back in the future.

“It was great,” Johnson told TCI after the visit. “I’m definitely going back.”

Johnson also just added an offer from Ohio State to go along with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Oregon, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas, among others.

Through the first four games of his junior season, Johnson has 15 tackles and six tackles for loss, per MaxPreps.

247Sports ranks Johnson No. 34 overall and No. 5 among all defensive linemen in the 2028 class. He also ranks No. 3 in the state of Georgia.
