The first availability report ahead of the Clemson-Cal matchup was released on Tuesday night.

For Clemson, there are a couple of new additions, including transfer defensive tackle Devarrick Woods, who made his first start for the Tigers in the comeback win over North Carolina. Woods is listed as questionable.

With Markus Strong out for the season and Kourtney Kelly still recovering from an ACL injury, Clemson can ill-afford another loss along the interior of the defensive line.

Defensive back Corian Gipson, who has been the starting nickel, is also listed as questionable. Dabo Swinney termed Gipson as day-to-day during his Tuesday press conference after the sophomore was only able to play two snaps against the Tar Heels last week.

Running back Jay Haynes is also listed as questionable. Haynes has yet to play this season. He was listed on last week’s report.

Backup quarterback Christopher Vizzina is listed as probable after he was not able to go against North Carolina due to an injury to his left elbow.

The big news on the Cal side of things is that starting defensive end Nate Burrell is listed as doubtful for Friday’s game. The defensive end has one sack and six total tackles through the first three games of the season.

Clemson travels to Cal for a Friday night ACC contest. Kickoff is set for 10:30 p.m. EDT and the game will be televised on ESPN.
