CLEMSON – Boston College’s Sophie Reale drilled the equalizer in the back of the net with under a minute to play, as the Eagles tied Clemson 3-3 Sunday at Historic Riggs Field.
Juju Harris scored one goal and assisted on the other two to lead the Tigers. With the result, Clemson moved to 6-2-3 and 2-1-1 in the ACC, while BC is now 8-2-1 and 1-2-1 in the ACC.
Senior Dani Davis added one goal and one assist, while Anna Castenfelt scored to round out Clemson’s scorers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clemson applied pressure early in the first half, taking eight of their 12 first-half shots in the first 20 minutes of play. Harris capitalized on one of those attempts after a ricocheted shot by sophomore Carla Small landed at Harris’ feet for a goal that slipped past BC’s goalkeeper, Olivia Shippee.
- The Eagles answered 45 seconds later with a shot that got past a diving Nona Reason to even things at 1-1 entering halftime.
- The Tigers reclaimed the lead in the 73rd minute after Castenfelt netted her team-high sixth goal of the 2026 campaign off assists from Harris and Davis.
- Davis followed with one of her own in the 78th minute that was again assisted by Harris to extend Clemson’s lead to 3-1.
- The Eagles got one goal back in the 86th minute of play after a handball inside the box awarded them a penalty kick that they capitalized on.
- BC leveled the match at 3-3 in the 89th minute of play after a corner kick for Boston College bounced outside the 18-yard box. Reale fielded the ball and took one dribble and fired a shot through the chaos into the back of the net for the equalizer.
- Clemson outshot Boston College 20-11 with seven Tiger shots being on target. In goal, Reason finished with four saves.
