Two in-state Clemson commits will have their high school careers extended by one game after being named to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.

Three-star DT Jaden Wuerth has been tabbed to play in the All-Star game. Wuerth committed to the Tigers back in the spring.

Through his first four games, Wuerth has 10.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Three-star CB Christian Chancellor has also been named to the team. He committed to Clemson in the summer of 2025.

Through four games, Chancellor has 18 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, two passes defended and a forced fumble.

Chancellor is the son of former Tigers’ standout Chris Chancellor, who was a multi-year starter in the Clemson secondary back during the early years of Swinney’s tenure. The elder Chancellor started 44 games throughout his career, recording nine interceptions.

The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas recognizes the very best in High School football players in the Carolinas. Every year there is a highly visible game between North Carolina’s players and those from South Carolina hosted by and promoted by The Shriners. Many players study with teammates who have been previously considered to be competitors, now sharing skills once deemed to be private.

This year’s game will be held on December 19th at Viking Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.
