Bad News for 5-Star Commit

Clemson’s highest-rated commit’s senior season has come to an end.

Five-star wideout Jamarin Simmons has suffered a season-ending “lower body” injury. The blue-chip talent is fresh off a weekend visit to Clemson for the Tigers’ prime-time matchup against Miami.

Through six games, Simmons caught 31 passes for 576 yards and six touchdowns. As a junior, he reeled in 59 catches for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The 5-foot-11 prospect committed to Clemson back in the summer, just ahead of the big official visit weekend at the end of May.

Simmons is one of three receivers currently committed to the Tigers, along with four-star Trey Wimbley and three-star Julian Cromartie.

247 ranks Simmons No. 24 overall, No. 5 among all receivers in the 2027 class and No. 3 in the state of Florida.
