Clemson’s weekend exhibitions against Coastal Carolina at Pelicans Park in Myrtle Beach are getting a schedule shakeup.
Due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Isaias, the games are being moved up.
The exhibition, originally scheduled for Sunday, has been moved up to Friday night at 8 p.m. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Coastal will be the home team.
Saturday’s game will now start at 1 p.m. Gates will open at noon, and the Tigers will be the home team.
“We’ve been working hand in hand with both teams and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans to make the necessary schedule adjustments with the anticipated inclement weather,” said Ryan Kirkwood of Peak Events. “Our goal throughout this process has been to give both teams the best opportunity to get their games in while keeping the safety of everyone involved a top priority. We appreciate Clemson, Coastal Carolina, and the Pelicans for their flexibility and cooperation throughout this process. We’re looking forward to a great weekend of baseball in Myrtle Beach!”
