5-Star Target Makes Surprise Appearance In Clemson

CLEMSON — One of Clemson’s top recruiting targets quietly made his way to campus on Saturday.

Five-star wideout Braylon Clark (Providence Day, NC) was a surprise visitor for the Tigers 37-0 win over Charleston Southern.

The 6-foot-3 receiver made no mention of his visit ahead of time, catching onlookers on the field off guard.

Clark picked up his offer back in June after a visit to campus during Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. He was the first player at the position to nab an offer from the Tigers.

Clark now goes to the same high school that current freshmen Leo Delaney and Gordon Sellers attended. He recently announced a Top 12 that featured Clemson, Ohio State, LSU, Tennessee, Miami, Texas, Indiana, Alabama, Oregon, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Southern Cal.

The 247 Composite ranks Clark No. 9 overall, the No. 4 receiver in the 2028 class and No. 1 in the state of North Carolina.
