Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback and former Clemson star Trevor Lawrence shined in London yet again with a stellar performance against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
During the Jaguars’ narrow 34-31 loss in Week 6 of the NFL season, Lawrence played outstanding football at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Despite the heartbreaking defeat on a walk-off field goal, Lawrence dissected the Texans’ defense to post his second straight 300-plus yard game in the United Kingdom.
Lawrence finished the contest with an efficient stat line, completing 24 of 41 passes for 306 yards with four touchdown passes and one interception. He posted a 104.3 passer rating and did not take any sacks.
Lawrence spread the ball around, matching his 2026 high with the four passing scores. He threw two touchdowns to running back Bhayshul Tuten (27 and 2 yards), a 1-yard strike to rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher and a 7-yard fourth-quarter touchdown to two-way star Travis Hunter.
Lawrence overcome some setbacks outside his control, including dropped passes and a holding penalty that negated a Tuten touchdown run – a penalty which preceded his lone interception.
Lawrence led a comeback after the Jaguars fell behind by 10 points on multiple occasions in the second half, including late in the third quarter. Jacksonville rallied to tie the game on Cam Little’s 60-yard field goal with 1:55 left, but Houston’s Ka’imi Fairbairn ultimately answered with the game-winning 49-yard field goal as time expired.
The Jaguars enter their Week 7 bye at 4-2, still holding the lead in the AFC South, while Lawrence heads into the break boasting a strong 14:4 TD-to-INT ratio on the season. The 2021 No. 1 overall pick and 2022 Pro Bowler has thrown for 1,480 yards in his first six games this season.
Lawrence’s performance against the Texans came on the heels of his strong Week 5 performance at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, when he completed 24 of 39 passes for a season-high 331 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Jacksonville to a 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
