Clemson Throws a TD pass to Take Lead on FSU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Clemson threw its first touchdown pass since Sept. 19, as quarterback Tait Reynolds threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to tight end Christian Bentancur with 10:37 to play in the first quarter.

The touchdown was setup by a 19-yard punt from Florida State, which gave the Tigers the football at the 30-yard line. On first down, Reynolds found T.J. Moore on a short pass. The junior broke a tackle and rumbled to the FSU 19-yard line.

On the very next play, Reynolds faked the pitch to his right, rolled left and found Bentancur around the 10-yard line and the big tight end did the rest.

Clemson led 7-0 after the touchdown. The touchdown pass was Reynolds’ second of the season. It was also Bentancur’s second of the season, which was Reynolds’ 27-yard pass against UNC.
