Future Clemson running back Wayne Gallman, one of the top backs in the Southeast, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com. In this edition the prize recruit discusses his final weeks at home and his thoughts of being a Tiger in just a month.
I can’t wait to get to Clemson. I have been waiting for it a long time. I am ready to leave.
I have been working out every day. The training has pretty much been the same. Right now I am about 200 pounds.
I have been going out and spending some time with my family before I leave.
I talk a lot with coach Elliott. I have been watching a CD with some of the running back drills and trying to learn some of the basics.
I am going to be rooming with Tyshon for sure. I think Ryan and Kyrin Priester will be the other two.
Playing Georgia in that first game gets me more excited. They are a major team. I have never been on that level except maybe at the state championship. I know from what we go through this summer we will be ready. I am going to try my best to make the rotation.
I hope I don’t fall the first time I run down the Hill. From what I have seen from going to the games I know it is going to be exciting. I can’t wait to experience that.
