Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams spoke with the media early this week to discuss the upcoming season and much more. During the interview session, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior said his recent hamstring injury is fine after sitting out a scrimmage and couple of practices. He is scheduled to start for the 12th-ranked Tigers when they open the season on Sept. 5 at Death Valley against Wofford.
Williams is a Preseason First-Team All-ACC selection after hauling in 57 passes for 1,030 yards in 2014. He averaged 18.1 yards per catch and scored six touchdowns for Clemson.
