#Clemson‘s Vic Beasley gets a strip sack, catches the ball in the air and runs it into the end zone to tie Micheal Dean Perry’s record for career sacks at 28. Wow! That kid is special, too. Clemson leads 41-0.

Lakip kicks a 43-yard field goal to give the Tigers a 34-0 lead. The drive was 11 plays, 67 yards and took 4:04 p.m.

5:30 p.m.

Clemson’s Tony Steward has a hamstring injury and he will not return.

5:07 p.m.

Dave Doeren preserves Clemson’s shutout as he calls a rollout pass that takes the last eight seconds of the half. The ball was at the Clemson 7-yard line and they at least had a field goal. But the play took too long and the Tigers lead 31-0 at the break.

4:42 p.m.

Clemson takes a 31-0 lead with 5:32 to play in the second quarter on a 31-yard Ammon Lakip field goal.

NC State won the toss and will defer to the second half.

3:25 p.m.

It appears Ryan Norton will start at center today

3:23 p.m.

I doubt Peake will play today. He looked very gingerly and was favoring that knee in warm ups.

3:21 p.m.

Like last week, Clemson had taken top recruits Deon Cain and Kelly Bryant to the top of the hill like they did McCloud last week.

1:58 p.m.

Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley needs one sack today to tie Michael Dean Perry’s sack record. He has 27 career sacks.
