CENTRAL – Brad Brownell picked up his first 2017 commitment on Tuesday afternoon when Daniel shooting guard A.J. Oliver announced his pledge to Clemson.

Oliver committed to Clemson over College of Charleston and Texas Tech in front of a gathering of friends, family and teammates, before Daniel’s home-opener against Liberty.

According to Scout, Oliver is the No. 73 overall player in the class of 2017. The 6-4, 175-pound prospect is 110 overall on the 247 rankings for 2017.

Old Dominion, FIU, USC-Upstate and Wofford also offered.
