No one uses social media to stick up for himself better than Ben Boulware. A few weeks back, the Clemson linebacker posted a tweet to remind someone from back in his high school days at T.L. Hanna in Anderson where he was at today and how he was performing as a college linebacker.
On Tuesday, Boulware again responded to his critics. This time it was senior NFL Draft Analyst Jon Ledyard, who works for DraftWire.com.
On Monday, Ledyard tweeted this below, which as you can tell was meant to be a complement to Boulware.

But when a fan asked him about Boulware’s chances to be a top prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft, Ledyard said, “Probably not. Short, squatty frame with minimal tackle radius and limited athleticism. But man he loves football and contact.”
That comment fired Boulware up a little so never one to hold anything back, he responded with this tweet…

…and later with this one.

Boulware finished his junior season at Clemson second on the team with 135 tackles. He also had eight tackles for loss from his linebacker position, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions and seven passes broken up. He ended the year as a First-Team All-ACC selection and as an honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated.
