Four-star 2017 athlete Markquese Bell made the trip down from New Jersey to Clemson this week to check out the Tigers.  The Clemson Insider caught up with Bell to get the details.

“I came down with my two coaches.  I loved it,” Bell said.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“Talking to the players and to some of the incoming freshmen to get a feel for the place,” Bell said. “I got to hear how they like it. I got to tour the new facility. I got to watch a highlight video and we talked to the academic adviser.”

The Tigers made a good impression on the New Jersey standout.

“Clemson is very high on my list,” said Bell.

The summer visit tour will include with at least one more stop.

“I am going to visit Ohio State. I am not sure where else,” said Bell.

Don’t expect an early decision from Bell.

“I am going to announce on signing day,” he said.
