Top defensive end enjoys Swinney Camp

The pipeline of talent at T.L. Hanna is really strong and one of their top prospects, Zacch Pickens, attended the Dabo Swinney High School Football Camp earlier this month. The Clemson Insider caught up with Zacch to see how he enjoyed the camp.

“It was a good camp.  I had a lot of fun,” Pickens said.

Who came with the 2019 prospect on the visit?

“My mom and my coach came over,” Pickens said.

The camp visit allowed Pickens to spend some time with several Clemson coaches.

“I met with some of the coaches.  They said they would love to have me at Clemson,” he said.

When asked if he has any early leaders, Pickens responded, “No sir, I don’t have any right now”.

The Clemson visit is the only visit planned right now for the summer for the 6-foot-3, 245-pound rising sophomore.  Pickens is likely to play defensive end at the next level.
