Markquese Bell sees a dream come true this week when he attends The Opening.  TCI caught up with the 4-star ATH before he  made the trip out west.

“I am real excited. I was dreaming about this since last year.  I have a little nervous. It is my first time,” Bell told The Clemson Insider.

Markquese has already visited several schools this summer, but one visit stands out.

“It would probably be the Clemson visit.  The  campus was special and the people around campus.  The players told me a lot of good stuff about what it is like at Clemson.  The coaches were up front with you,” said Bell.

Another visits to Clemson is already planned for Markquese who is being recruited by the Tigers as a safety.

“Me and a couple of guys are going back down South for some more visits.  Clemson will be one of them,” said Bell.

Don’t expect an early decision from the New Jersey standout.

“I will make it after my official visits.  If it takes longer then I will announce on signing day,” said Bell.

Markquese knows what he will consider when he makes his final decision.

“I just want to see where I feel at home.  I want to go where I feel like the coaches actually care.  I want to go where I feel comfortable,” said Bell.

What are Markquese’s goals for The Opening?

“I just want to play my game and compete with the best,” replied Bell.
