Clemson’s struggles on offense this year go far beyond the quarterback situation. Granted, the Tigers have been more effective with Deshaun Watson at quarterback and the good news for Tiger fans is he will return this season, more than likely for the Georgia Tech game on Nov. 15.
But because of Cole Stoudt’s struggles and the lack of quality depth on the offensive line, the fans and media alike have overlooked and important aspect of the game that explains Clemson’s lack of offensive success than what is happening at a certain position.
You can argue the struggles at quarterback, running back and on the offensive line may contribute to this fact, but the fact is football is a team game and where we put the blame ultimately has to go on the coaches and the head coach, right?
