Venables thinks new ‘Swinney Law’ needed to protect players

Earlier this week freshmen defensive end Xavier Kelly was involved in a moped accident that could have cost him his life. Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables talked Thursday about how South Carolina does not require a helmet to be worn when driving a moped, and said that a new “Swinney Law” may be needed to correct that situation and protect their players in.
