Clemson commitment Sam Hall is out in Texas competing on the Team USA 40-man roster and is hoping to make the cut.
“I can’t wait my man. I have been getting more excited every single day,” Hall told The Clemson Insider before he headed to Texas.
Hall is hoping he can make the 20-man roster so he can represent the USA overseas.
“It would be awesome. I have worked so hard to get to this point so all I have to do is just let go and let God handle it,” he said.
Once his team USA duties are over he plans to make it to a game in Death Valley later this fall.
“Yes. I know I will be at our official visit (NC State game) for sure, but I’m not sure about any other games,” said Hall.
What has Hall been doing since returning from the East Coast Pro Showcase earlier this summer?
“Working out in the weight room and on the field as much as possible. Also preparing the mental side of the game as well,” he said.
Hall will once again get to play with future Clemson teammate Kier Meredith at the Team USA workouts in Texas. The two have grown very close this summer after playing together in a number of tournaments.
“It will be awesome. Me and him are very close from all the ball we have played together this summer. We also talk all the time. So it should be fun,” said Hall.
