Watson made it count when it mattered

Deshaun Watson will be the first to tell anyone that Saturday’s performance in Clemson’s win over Louisville was not his best, but in the end, he made the plays when he had to in the Tigers’ 42-36 victory in Death Valley.

Watson completed 20 of 31 passes for 306 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 91 yards on 14 carries. He threw two touchdown passes in the final 7:02, including a 31-yard toss to Jordan Leggett for the winning touchdown.
