How did Clemson’s commits perform in their games on Friday night?

The Clemson Insider has the latest on those performances here:

Quarterback commit Chase Brice had a big game for Grayson (Ga.), totaling four touchdowns in a 70-6 romp over Shiloh. Brice completed 7-of-12 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns, including a 70-yard touchdown pass. He also scored on a 4-yard quarterback keeper.

Wide receiver commit Tee Higgins shined again, though Oak Ridge (Tenn.) fell 28-24 to McMinn County. Higgins hauled in eight receptions for 143 yards, including a 56-yard score. He also had a 25-yard touchdown reception.

Linebacker commit Baylon Spector, who shares the quarterback duties for Calhoun (Ga.), got it done on the ground to help his team defeat Adairsville 29-3. Spector rushed 12 times for 142 yards and two touchdowns, one of which went for 59 yards.

Cornerback commit A.J. Terrell, who also plays receiver for Westlake (Atlanta), scored two touchdowns in a span of four minutes during the second quarter against East Coweta. Terrell later scored on a quarterback sneak and followed it up with a two-point conversion to help Westlake win 37-34.

Quarterback commit Hunter Johnson went 17-of-37 passing for 197 and two touchdowns, but threw three interceptions in Brownsburg (Ind.)’s 22-21 loss versus Noblesville. Johnson also ran 15 times for 28 yards.

Meanwhile, running back commit Cordarrian Richardson easily surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark and registered a pair of touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough for Trezevant (Tenn.) in a 28-20 loss to Memphis East.

Cornerback commit LeAnthony Williams helped Roswell (Ga.) remain undefeated, while defensive end commit Jordan Williams and Frank W. Cox (Virginia Beach, Va.) lost their first game of the season at Salem, 21-9.

North Marion (Citra, Fla.) offensive line commit Blake Vinson’s game at Lake Worth was cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew, as was IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) 2018 linebacker commit Mike Jones’ game against Southern Lab.

Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic wide receiver commit Amari Rodgers had a bye this week, while Noah Dehond and The Peddie School (Hightstown, N.J.) play Hill School at home later today.
