Ball finds Renfrow in big games

Clemson’s little receiver, Hunter Renfrow, has a knack for playing his biggest in the biggest games.

In last season’s national championship game, Renfrow recorded seven catches for 88 yards and two touchdowns, including one from 31 yards out. He also caught a touchdown pass in the semifinal win over Oklahoma.

Renfrow’s three receiving touchdowns are the most in College Football Playoff history.

The sophomore from Myrtle Beach, S.C., feels that the ball just seems to find him in games like the one Clemson will play against Alabama on Monday night in Tampa, Fla., for the national title.

“I think it just happens. I think the ball finds me,” Renfrow said. “Because I get open in practice, it just finds me in the games.”
