Countdown to tipoff: Clemson at No. 18 Duke

Clemson returns to the road to take on 18th-ranked Duke at 1 p.m. The Tigers are in search of its first win at Cameron Indoor Stadium since 1995.

Clemson is coming off a heart breaking one-point loss to Syracuse at Littlejohn Coliseum this past Tuesday. The Orange’s Tyus Battle drained a three-pointer as time expired to lift Syracuse to an 82-81 victory. The Tigers have now lost eight of their last 10 games.

  • Jaron Blossomgame moved to ninth place in Clemson history in career scoring after a 20-point effort against Syracuse; it was his 20th career ACC game with at least 20 points. Only Butch Zatezalo (1967-70) and Bill Yarborough (195-57) have more 20-point ACC games in Clemson history.
  • Shelton Mitchell has averaged six assists per game over Clemson’s last five, and still ranks third in league games in assist-to-turnover ratio. Mitchell posted eight assists without a turnover in 33 minutes against Syracuse.
