Over the last six years, Clemson has become known as Wide Receiver University. With players such as Deandre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins and now Mike Williams making a splash on the national stage, the college football world holds wide outs coming out of Death Valley in high esteem.

The Class of 2017 brought in a gem in the form of 6-foot-5, 195-pound Tee Higgins.

As next year’s recruiting cycle begins to pick up, another big time wide receiver from Tennessee is waiting for an offer.

Tykee Ogle-Kellogg is only a junior, but his size already mirrors Higgins at 6-foot-5, 195 pounds.

The Alcoa (Tenn.) product said while he does not currently have an offer from Clemson, he would love to visit and get a feel for the program.

As of now, he said he holds offers from 10 different schools including Louisville, South Carolina and Tennessee. Ogle-Kellogg said Tennessee stands out to him the most.

“I just love their offense and the coaching staff they’re is really cool,” he said.

While Tennessee is holding court, Clemson could pull from behind seeing as Ogle-Kellogg has a connection with a new Tiger wide out.

“It would be cool, knowing I could play with my old teammate Amari Rodgers,” said Ogle-Kellogg.

With his senior season approaching and height and weight already at a college level, Ogle-Kellogg said he looks to improve his route running as he prepares to play D1 ball.

When asked what he could do for the Clemson Tigers if offered a scholarship, his answer was simple.

“Anything they would need me to do,” he said.
