Clemson commitment Darnell Jefferies and Newton High (Covington, Ga.) went head-to-head with Clemson commit Justin Mascoll and South Gwinnett High (Snellville, Ga.) on Friday night.

Jefferies was a dominant force on the defensive line, logging a number of tackles, tackles for loss and sacks as Newton beat South Gwinnett, 30-8.
