Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney began his post-practice interviews Monday by giving huge congratulations to both the baseball and basketball teams on all of their success so far this season.
The men’s basketball team is dancing their way to San Diego this Friday to play in the NCAA Tournament, while the baseball team danced all over the field this past weekend for their first sweep of Georgia Tech since 2003.
The baseball team is now ranked tenth in the county after their first conference sweep against Georgia Tech.

After asked what was working for the Tigers right now, outfielder Seth Beer was quick to respond.
“We’re being respectful to the game we’re playing as hard as we can, every pitch, every at-bat, every time we step on the bump.” he said.
After a phenomenal week, Beer was named the ACC co-Player of the Week.

Even without star player Donte Grantham, the Tigers ended the regular season tied for third in the ACC after being selected to finish 13th in the preseason. Now they’re in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in seven years.
The Tigers (23-9) will play New Mexico State in the opening round. Clemson is looking for its first First-Round win since the 1996-’97 season.
