Boudreaux visits Tigertown, details spring plans

Parker Boudreaux’s highly-anticipated return to Clemson went about as well as possible.

The four-star guard from Orlando-Moore Catholic arrived Friday, went to Junior Day on Saturday and stuck around until early Sunday afternoon. While he was en route to Columbia for his first visit to South Carolina, Bourdreaux spoke with TheClemsonInsider.

“Obviously, I talked to all of the coaches for a long time. We just saw all the campus and the dorms and everything. We did, really, everything,” he said. “It was just a great time, I loved it.”

What was the message from the Clemson coaches?

“They said to take all the visits I need to. Once you know where you want to be, just go there, where it feels like home. It felt like home there, so I really liked it.”

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn are set to receive visits later this spring. Bourdreaux also plans to return to Florida for another spring practice.

With close to 70 offers, he’s got plenty of other options.

“Probably, in the spring, I’ll narrow it down,” Boudreaux said. “Then, take my visit to Notre Dame in the summer and narrow it down a little bit more, too.”

He’ll consider several factors throughout the process.

“The comfort, if it feels like home, academics, the culture and the atmosphere. That’s about it,” Boudreaux said.
